Axeiom is a new take on the traditional axe throwing house. We have 22 full throwing lanes, a private room available with 7 lanes, a children's play area, and a well-lit, comfortable, and welcoming space for all. Bring your family, friends, even your first date.

You’re welcome to wear anything you like, so long as you have closed-toed shoes. Clothes that don’t constrict movement of your arms would be a plus, too!

But don’t worry, if you forget your closed-toed shoes, we also have a variety of beautiful Crocs to choose from. We call them our Crocs of Shame!

If you’re super amazing, you’ll show up with your whole party at least 15 minutes before your scheduled session. You’ll be greeted by one of our staff members at the front desk, and pay the remainder of your appointment balance (you already paid a 50% deposit when you made your reservation — nice!).

Showing up early will also give people time to fill out their safety waivers, if they’ve not yet done so. Please be aware that any extra time spent signing in will be forfeited from your throwing time. Each thrower must fill out their own individual waiver, but they can be reused for any following appointments — awesome!

One of our throwing coaches will bring you to your lanes, and you will be shown the ropes of throwing to ensure that you and your party have the most safe, fun time possible! When everyone is comfortable, you’ll be off on your own!

We’re also BYO, so feel free to bring sustenance to your session. If you need some local food or drink recommendations, check out this list of local restaurants and breweries!

If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice. With at least 24 hours notice, your prepaid deposit can either be refunded, or put towards a new appointment time. Any cancellation or reschedule made within less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will result in the forfeit of your prepaid deposit.

All children 12+ are welcome to throw with adult supervision! At Axeiom, an accompanying adult must list all minors they are responsible for on their safety waiver, and stay with said minors during gameplay.

But never fear! For children under 12, Axeiom has a designated play/chill area where your young ones can hang out while you throw!

We don’t throw hangry, and we won’t make you either. Feel free to bring food with you, or order when you get here and have it delivered to the check-in counter. We’ll call you over when it arrives!

We allow beer or wine, but no hard liquor. If you’d like, we’ll even bring over some ice for you.

However, to keep everyone safe, we have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to handling axes while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Axeiom reserves the right to stop any inebriated guests from throwing. That includes marijuana, too!

Axeiom reserves the right to remove any customers that can not adhere to our rules for any reason. If you are rude or disrespectful to our staff, we have a zero-tolerance policy, which will result in the permanent refusal of services.

From birthday parties to corporate outings, we’d be more than happy to host your private event! Our party room is versatile enough for events of any kind. Our packages can accommodate between 15-145 throwers.

Axeiom is located in the Shoppes at Flemington shopping centre, and there’s tons of parking right in front of our building!

Yes! Axe throwing is a wheelchair accessible sport, and Axeiom is fully ADA compliant. If you have further questions regarding accessibility, feel free to contact us.

Each party is given a minimum of two lanes (one “pit”) to start with! However, at Axeiom we book by party size rather than by number of lanes. So after you book your reservation, we will match you with a number of lanes to ensure that you and your party are spaced comfortably!

Spectators are welcome to join your group! However, there is a $10 fee + tax for each guest not throwing.

Well, that depends! Usually it’s due to one of three reasons:

1. Which board is being changed? Bullseyes get changed most often, usually 1-2 times per day. The surrounding boards only need to be changed every few days.

2. Do you have anger issues? Are you super stressed? You might be throwing much harder than is necessary, and going through wood at an increased rate. The greater the force, the greater the wear and tear on your target.

3. What kind of wood are you throwing on? How wet or dry is it? All kinds of factors impact your wood’s endurance.

No! We have a wonderful selection of WATL and Valley axes to throw with — yours will unfortunately have to stay at home.

Axe throwing is an inherently a social sport that creates community and brings people together. Playing games, being with friends and getting exercise all result in dopamine secretion, which reduces stress and makes you feel good. Plus, throwing sharp objects is just super fun!

Axeiom owners Carly and Walter chose axe throwing because they wanted to start a business that was FUN, and provided for both their family and the community. Part of the Axeiom mission is to create a safe, highly-inclusive, and joyful space for you to throw sharp weapons and celebrate life.

One of Axeiom’s goals is to participate and collaborate with local initiatives to lower income inequality, and raise both diversity and educational opportunities within the Flemington community. So not only are you having fun, you’re also supporting your community!
